Platform Modules

Three Modules.
One Workflow.

VEMO FuelIQ is organised around how LNG compliance teams actually work — collect voyage data, calculate regulatory exposure, and produce reports for regulators, banks, and charterers.

MODULE 01 — Available Now

Voyage Data Collection

Vessel officers submit noon reports and voyage data through the VEMO vessel portal or by uploading a structured CSV file. Fuel consumption, port calls, cargo, distance, and engine mode — all captured per voyage leg and fed directly into the compliance engine.

Noon report submission via vessel officer portal
CSV upload for multi-fuel vessels (LNG + pilot fuel)
Voyage leg breakdown — laden, ballast, port, STS
Cargo quality (COQ) and LHV integration for LNG vessels
View Regulations Covered
Voyage Entry — LNG Carrier
Fuel consumed (LNG)1,842 mt
Pilot fuel (MDO)14.2 mt
Distance sailed4,210 nm
Cargo loaded60,400 mt LNG

Compliance Calculation Engine

Once voyage data is saved, VEMO calculates exposure across all active regulations simultaneously. EU ETS allowance liability, FuelEU Maritime GHG intensity, IMO CII attained rating, EEXI status, and boil-off gas (BOG) variance against charter party guarantee — all derived from the same voyage data set.

EU ETS and UK ETS allowance liability per voyage
FuelEU Maritime Well-to-Wake GHG intensity vs annual target
IMO CII attained rating with year-end forecast
BOG guarantee variance — actual vs contractual rate
Methodology and regulatory basis
Compliance Summary — This Voyage
EU ETS obligation 124.3 EUA
FuelEU GHG intensity 56.2 gCO₂e/MJ ✓
CII contribution Rating trajectory: B
BOG variance Within guarantee ✓

Reporting and Export Suite

Compliance reports for regulators, verifiers, banks, and charterers are generated from voyage data on demand. Each document is structured to match the format and scope required by the relevant regulation or disclosure framework.

EU MRV annual emission report — verifier-ready format
IMO DCS annual report — flag state submission format
SEEMP Part I, II, and III — PDF export for flag state
Sea Cargo Charter and Poseidon Principles disclosure datasets
View all supported regulations
Available Exports
EU ETS Annual Surrender Report PDF / CSV
FuelEU Monitoring Plan PDF
IMO DCS Annual Report CSV / XML
SEEMP Part I / II / III PDF
EEXI Technical File PDF
Sea Cargo Charter Disclosure CSV

Where VEMO FuelIQ is heading.

The compliance engine is live. The next phase adds voyage optimisation intelligence — helping operators understand how routing, speed, and fuel decisions affect regulatory exposure before a voyage begins, not after it ends.

How the Platform Is Built

Data Collection Methods

Voyage data enters VEMO FuelIQ through the vessel officer portal, structured CSV upload, or the fleet manager web interface. No onboard hardware installation is required. Officers record fuel consumption, distance, cargo, and port data per voyage leg.

  • Vessel portal — noon report and voyage entry
  • CSV upload — bulk voyage import, multi-fuel support
  • COQ (Cargo Quality Certificate) integration for LNG LHV
  • Manual entry with field-level validation

Regulatory Calculation Basis

All compliance calculations follow the methodology set out in the relevant IMO resolutions and EU regulations. Calculation inputs, factors, and outputs are logged per voyage for verifier and auditor access.

  • EU ETS — methodology aligned with EU Regulation 2023/1805
  • FuelEU Maritime — Well-to-Wake per Annex II, EU Regulation 2023/1805
  • IMO CII — attained CII per MEPC.352(78) and MEPC.353(78)
  • IMO DCS — annual fuel report per MARPOL Annex VI Reg. 22A

Data Security

All vessel and fleet data is encrypted at rest (AES-256) and in transit (TLS 1.3). Each company's data is fully isolated using row-level security in PostgreSQL. Fleet operators retain ownership of all data and can export complete records at any time.

  • AES-256 encryption at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit
  • Row-level security — no cross-company data access
  • GDPR compliant — EU-hosted infrastructure
  • Full data export available on request

API Access

VEMO FuelIQ provides a RESTful API for enterprise fleet management integrations. Available on the Enterprise plan. API documentation and authentication details are provided on request during the onboarding process.

  • RESTful API — JSON responses, token authentication
  • Vessel data, voyage records, and compliance metrics
  • Webhook support for voyage save and report events
  • Available on Enterprise plan — contact sales for access
